About the role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Practice Manager to join our close-knit at Myhealth Burwood As a Practice Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence while creating a supportive, team-driven environment. This is an ideal position for a Practice Manager with GP experience looking to tackle a large practice, with exciting growth plans in the coming months

A day in the life:

  • Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
  • Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations with a focus on quality care
  • Staff rostering across after hours and weekend shifts
  • Facilitating inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
  • Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
  • Providing solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
  • Leading a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care

What we're looking for:

  • General Practice experience (essential)
  • Practice Management experience (essential)
  • Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
