Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Pilot located in south east Melbourne, VIC. The ROV Pilot will be responsible for operating remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to conduct above and below water inspections. Daily tasks include navigating and piloting the ROV, monitoring and analysing inspection data, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and working closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of projects. We are looking for individuals who maintain an active lifestyle who can easily adapt to various environments and conditions.

About you:

  • Drone / Gaming Experience preferable
  • Willing to travel, sometimes at short notice
  • Inspection/visual analysis skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Candidates must possess agility, physical fitness, and mobility
  • Able to lift at least 20kg
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Robotics background or keen interest in robotics advantageous
