What you will bring to the role
- Completion of appropriate tertiary psychology qualifications, depending on classification of employment (psychologist or clinical psychologist). Clinical Psychologists / Clinical Neuropsychologists require completion of an accredited Masters or Doctoral degree.
- Full registration as a psychologist and / or Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology endorsement (or working towards endorsement) with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams including multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the provision of evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention for psychological disorders.
- Demonstrated experience working with children / adolescents / adults.
- Demonstrated experience in providing individual or group intervention.
- Demonstrated engagement in ongoing professional development and commitment to clinical supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including computer literacy.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
