About the JOB:

Due to business expansion, we are seeking a full-time appeal counsellor to join our professional team.

Daily roles and responsibilities include:

  • Review academic appeal policies and regulations from various institutions.
  • Handle initial appeal inquiries and conduct preliminary assessments based on the client's case.
  • Assist students in understanding their institution's appeal deadlines, procedures, requirements, and possible outcomes.
  • Based on the preliminary assessment, coordinate with study abroad/visa/course sales consultants to align the student's case and support future study planning.
  • Work with students to organize relevant materials to determine if there are grounds for appeal, and draft or assist in preparing appeal documents, including appeal letters and supporting materials, ensuring compliance with institutional requirements and formats.
  • Follow up on the appeal process until a clear outcome is reached, explain the implications to the student, and assist with the next stage of study planning.
  • Establish and maintain a database of student appeal cases.
  • Review and learn institutional definitions and handling procedures for academic misconduct, and collaborate with marketing colleagues to provide risk alerts and awareness to students.

Qualifications Competencies and experience required:

  • Excellent English reading and writing skills, fluent in both Chinese and English.
  • Clear logical expression and reporting ability, with strong structured thinking to quickly identify core issues and filter out irrelevant information.
  • Outstanding communication skills and sales awareness, combined with a strong service mindset and efficient problem-solving abilities.
  • Empathy and interpersonal understanding, capable of handling student needs and unexpected situations effectively.
  • Highly efficient and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy throughout the application process.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities, able to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
  • Proficient in process management, with the ability to analyze student situations and institutional policies.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in study abroad or education consulting is preferred.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate study experience in Australia is preferred.
