Since 2010, we've photographed thousands of pets and raised over $200,000 for animal rescue. We believe in muddy paws, joy-filled moments, and making a difference for pets in need.

We're looking for dog-loving photographers to join our team. If you're skilled, friendly and happy to get covered in slobbery doggo kisses, then this could be the perfect role for you

What you'll be doing:

  • Photograph dogs and their humans outdoors (1-2 hours per session)
  • Create a relaxed, fun experience for every client
  • Follow Ragamuffin's signature posing guide — with plenty of room for your own creativity

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio showcasing portrait photography skills (pet photography experience not required)
  • Comfort around animals and exceptional patience is a must.
  • Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras

  • Own gear

  • DSLR or mirrorless camera with high frame rate

  • 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses (or similar)

  • Own car (travel outside 30km reimbursed)

  • Weekend availability

You are a good fit if…

  • You genuinely love dogs (and ideally you are a pet parent yourself)
  • You take great pride in your work and appreciate constructive feedback
  • You are punctual and reliable
  • You love photography, but not the part where you have to find clients, sell stuff, and ask for money
  • You enjoy being outdoors and you're not afraid to get a bit muddy for a great photo

You are not a good fit if…

  • You are thinking this is a quick and easy way to pick up some more "jobs" without a commitment to the craft, the team, and further developing yourself
  • You are not willing to dedicate some time to learning and training
  • Your motivation for joining our team is to learn how to run your own photography business
