  • Deep knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory expectations and control environments.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured analysis with minimal guidance.
  • A proven ability to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders on risk, control, and compliance matters.
  • Confidence to speak up and engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders, including raising concerns and articulating well-reasoned positions
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex information, identify patterns and develop actionable recommendations.
  • The ability to communicate risk concepts to less technical stakeholders, such as through briefings, reports, presentations or papers.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the RBA's policies, procedures, and risk frameworks (or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire this understanding).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, risk, compliance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
