Market & Financial Risk Senior Analyst

The Opportunity

As part of the Market & Financial Risk team, you'll play a key role in strengthening the organisation's risk management framework — covering liquidity, funding, interest rate, counterparty credit, and capital risks. This is a hands-on analytical role that blends technical depth with commercial insight.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Senior Manager, Market & Financial Risk in maintaining a robust and forward-looking risk framework.
  • Lead analytical projects and enhance risk data capabilities
    — reviewing model assumptions, automating reporting, and generating insights for ALCO and senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across risk processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with finance, treasury, and broader risk teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable information.

What You'll Bring

  • 4–5+ years' experience in financial or market risk, ALM, or treasury risk within a regulated financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, risk modelling, and regulatory standards.
  • Technical capability with tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or VBA.
  • Highly analytical mindset with strong communication skills — able to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Open to candidates on visa.
