Our comprehensive approach addresses the complex challenges of the energy transition, positioning Jacobs as a key partner in shaping the future of power generation and distribution.

Here's what you'll need

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Associate Primary Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead our High Voltage (HV) Primary Electrical Engineering initiatives across Transmission and Distribution. You'll have the opportunity to lead engineering teams across our regional APAC team, contribute to cutting-edge projects that shape the power infrastructure landscape and engage with our Global Community of Practice, driving innovation all while developing your career in a dynamic, innovative environment. • Lead primary design and design review for distribution and transmission substations (22kV to 500kV).
• Develop critical engineering deliverables including substation layout design, single line diagrams and sections.
• Lead projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent in Substation Engineering.
• Collaborate across disciplines (Civil, Structural and Secondary Systems) to ensure project success.
• Engage with clients as a trusted technical advisor.

We're looking for someone with the following skills and experiences

• Extensive expertise in HV Primary Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).
• Proven project leadership experience providing technical direction.
• Well honed business development and client relationship skills.
• In depth knowledge of current industry developments and standards.
