We are now seeking a hands-on Mechatronic Technician to support our engineering team in product assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for electronics to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and precisely calibrate electronic components and complex systems following detailed technical specifications, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Support product development by assisting in prototyping new electronic designs, implementing modifications, and conducting thorough performance evaluations to verify functionality and identify improvement areas.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in electronic circuits and systems using specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators, ensuring minimal downtime and quality standards are met.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all tests performed, repairs conducted, and components utilized to facilitate traceability, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, providing hands-on technical support and feedback to drive product development, refinement, and innovation initiatives.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and quality assurance standards to maintain a safe working environment and ensure products meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking electronic parts, tools, and test equipment, ensuring availability for production needs and timely reordering to prevent delays.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years' experience with industrial drives and associated machinery, industrial control systems and programming.
- Hands-on experience with electronics assembly, soldering, and circuit testing.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with PCB design or embedded systems is a plus.
