Our client is looking for an experienced CI/CD Engineer
to help build, optimise, and maintain deployment pipelines across cloud-based platforms. This is a contract role ideal for automation-focused engineers who take pride in streamlining delivery, improving build reliability, and working closely with developers and DevOps teams.

About the Role

You'll play a central role in automating software delivery pipelines, supporting secure and efficient deployments, and embedding DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and manage
    CI/CD pipelines
    using tools like
    Azure DevOps
    ,
    GitHub Actions
    , or
    GitLab CI/CD
  • Integrate build, test, security scanning, and deployment steps into repeatable workflows
  • Support multi-environment release strategies (dev, staging, production)
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and cloud engineers to improve pipeline performance and traceability
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with
    Terraform
    or similar tools
  • Implement guardrails, secrets management, and rollback mechanisms

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in
    DevOps, Build/Release Engineering, or CI/CD roles
  • Proven hands-on expertise in at least one CI/CD platform (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Experience integrating automated tests, code quality, and security tools into pipelines
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar)
  • Familiarity with
    Terraform
    ,
    Docker
    , and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Clear communicator who can support cross-functional teams and improve delivery workflows
