PURPOSE
To prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within Cucina and Co's standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
LOCATION
The position will be based at 325 New Street, Brighton, Melbourne, VIC 3186
REPORTING TO
The position reports to the Sous Chef
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Relevant qualification at the level of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher, OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience as a chef in a reputable restaurant
Comprehensive knowledge of culinary, baking, and pastry techniques
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to Cucina and Co's menu
Ensure consistent and high-quality food presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Manage and train kitchen staff as required
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen
Innovate and contribute to menu development with new recipes and ideas
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
