The Lifestyle/ Wellbeing Assistant supports development and delivery meaningful activities to enhance the wellbeing and lifestyle of our residents

About the opportunity

• We welcome a qualified full-time enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant to join our team to work at Mercy Place Dandenong.

• Support the delivery of holistic wellbeing programs that promote engagement and social connection

• Provide individualized one-on-one support for residents

• Assist with assessments and care plan reviews to ensure wellbeing needs are met

• Collaborate with clinical staff to support residents' overall wellbeing

• Create memorable experiences—whether it's outings, social events, or unique activities such as a game, lunch at the local pub, or a scenic helicopter joy flight over Phillip Island

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Support the delivery of lifestyle and wellbeing programs

• Provide one-on-one support for residents

• Review and evaluation of wellbeing care plans and assessments

• Provide an exceptional stakeholder experience

• Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure residents wellbeing needs are being met

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle

• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards

• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations

• 2025 Influenza Vaccination

• NDIS Check

• Proof of eligibility to work in Australia

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
