About the Role

Junior School ICT Integrator (Part-Time Contract)

St Aloysius' College is seeking a dynamic and innovative ICT Integrator to facilitate the integration of technology in teaching and learning across the Junior School (Years 3–6) for Term 4, 2025. This part-time (0.8FTE), fixed-term position is a leave replacement role, working closely with teachers to embed digital and innovative technologies, as well as STEM, into students' learning experiences.

Reporting to the Head of Junior School, the successful candidate will mentor and coach teaching staff, facilitate professional development, and ensure purposeful integration of ICT tools and systems. You will demonstrate a willingness to integrate innovative pedagogy and contemporary classroom teaching practice that both supports and challenges students. The role also includes coordinating our Canvas learning platform, managing the Innovation Space, and fostering a whole-school approach to CyberSafety and Digital Citizenship.

The successful candidate will play a key role in continuing the College's vision for technology-enhanced learning and will suit a newly graduated ICT educator looking to gain experience or an experienced ICT Integrator seeking an opportunity in a new school environment.

Your Application

To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;
  • An understanding of the educational needs of boys and young men;
  • Possess appropriate Primary teaching qualifications and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA);
  • Experience in Primary teaching with a particular capacity to work collaboratively to integrate STEM and digital technologies in teaching and learning;
  • Ability to design, implement and evaluate curriculum collaboratively in accordance with College and NESA syllabus guidelines;
  • Outstanding ICT skills and demonstrated experience in the integration of technology into learning programs;
  • Proven ability to use data to monitor student progress and keep parents regularly and comprehensively informed through various communication methods.
  • Ability to create a positive, supportive and engaging classroom climate that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students;
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth through critical self-reflection, continuous learning, and active contribution to the broader school community.
  • High level organisation and time management skills;
  • Effective and efficient conflict resolution skills;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills;
  • Commitment to participate in the College's co-curricular and pastoral programs.
