Sweethearts the Adult Shop has been serving the Townsville community for almost 40 years providing a personal, discreet, and confidential service to our valued customers. We are a small, close-knit team looking for a mature-minded Full Time Retail Sales Assistant to join us in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

About the Role:

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in helping our customers find the right products to meet their needs. You'll be using your life experience and empathy to offer tailored advice in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service, listening to their needs and recommending products with confidence
  • Maintaining a clean, organised store and assisting with inventory control
  • Setting up and maintaining product displays
  • Handling cash transactions with attention to detail
  • Using basic computer skills for sales, stock control, and general store management

Who We're Looking For:

We want a team member who is reliable, flexible, and committed to providing great service. Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience (adult retail experience is a plus, but not necessary)
  • A strong eye for detail and an organised approach to work
  • Comfort with discreet, one-on-one customer interaction
  • Cash handling experience and basic computer literacy
  • A professional attitude, with respect for confidentiality and personal boundaries
