If you have full working rights and currently living in Mackay, we are looking for you, no previous experience required we will put you through PAID training including a Certificate 2 in Transport Security. 

Your role will see you screening passengers through the security screening point as well as learning a range of other aviation security skills, utilizing the most advanced security screening equipment in Australia. 

The Position:

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, consistently providing a high quality, positive experience.
  • Demonstrated potential to undertake screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Applied skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform all Security and Safety emergency procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Consistently display professional standards of behavior and personal presentation
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing team environment.
  • Utilize excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Complete incident reports as required.
  • Engage with travellers and visitors in a positive manner when they are transiting through and arriving and departing the terminal.

To be successful in this role you need.

  • Ability to obtain/endorsed for Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP)
  • Great Communication Skills & Customer service skills
  • A willingness to learn & be part of a team environment.
  • The ability to obtain an ASIC Card- Full criminal History Check.
  • The ability to pass a drug & alcohol check
  • Drivers Licence and transport
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
