Tableside Creatives is looking for a Design Lead with sharp aesthetic instincts and serious creative depth. If you're the type of designer who can move from brand concepts to campaign rollouts, this might be your dream role.

About the Role

As our full-time Design Lead, you'll lead the design function across a portfolio of dynamic hospitality brands. From brand identity development to social campaign rollouts and animated assets, your work will touch every part of the Tableside creative output.

This is a hands-on studio role with no WFH you'll be collaborating closely with our strategists, content team, and leadership to deliver design that's both beautiful and impactful.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop brand concepts and visual identities from the ground up
  • Translate strategic and creative briefs into polished, scroll-stopping campaigns
  • Design high-quality assets across print, digital, social, and motion
  • Create ad creatives, animation elements, and video overlays
  • Design and manage visual direction for websites and digital projects
  • Brief and guide junior designers and video editors
  • Lead creative research, moodboarding, and presentation development
  • Contribute to building systems and processes that keep design work flowing smoothly

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years design experience (agency or in-house)
  • A strong portfolio that showcases branding, campaign work, and digital design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; animation skills highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, typography, and storytelling through design
  • Confidence briefing, reviewing, and mentoring junior creatives
  • A proactive, solutions-first mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Bonus: experience with hospitality, lifestyle, or F&B brands

Note: This is a full-time, in-studio role based in South Melbourne. No remote work is available for this position.
