The Role

Our client located in Eastern Creek is a Global market world-wide leader who specialise in high-end domestic appliances and commercial equipment. The role is a casual MR truck driver position with the opportunity for permanent. You will be completing multiple installations and deliveries of white goods to residential and commercial sites. Training will be provided, and you will always be completing deliveries as a two-person crew. Monday to Friday (No weekend work).

Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Please note: due to the nature of work required this role is physically demanding

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery and installations of white goods (such as dishwashers, washing machines and fridges) directly to customers homes, job sites and to stores
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills
  • All deliveries/installations are completed with assistance with an offsider as required
  • Climbing in and out of the truck (using 3 points of contact) multiple times per day, and using the side step to reach into and out of the truck
  • Ensuring all loads are secured and restrained using straps
  • Use of trolleys and tail lifts

Skills & Experience

  • Must have a valid MR drivers licence
  • A good driving record
  • Multi Drop experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service/facing role preferable
  • Manual Handling using trolley - the role requies phsyiical hand unload
  • High attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of safe work practices
  • Great attitude and flexibility
