As a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the School of Mathematics and Statistics and the ARC Research Hub for Discovery Project. Working closely with leading academics, you will develop your research expertise , participate in innovative projects, and engage with a vibrant academic community. This role offers an exciting platform to enhance your career while making impactful contributions to the field of mathematics.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct Innovative Research: Collaborate with the project team to drive research initiatives within the ARC Research Hub for Discovery Project and the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
Develop and Publish Academic Work: Contribute to high-standard academic papers and other scholarly outputs, aligning with the University of Melbourne's research expectations.
Engage and Mentor: Support postgraduate and research higher degree students through supervision, scientific mentoring, and training.

You may also:
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
Demonstrate high-level organisational and time-management skills.
Have a strong understanding of algebraic geometry and the Langlands program.
Exhibit a collaborative approach and the ability to work independently.
