Group Risk & Compliance Administrator

One of Western Australia's leading residential building companies has a rare opportunity to join the team and be part of the journey to ensure the Group continues to build quality homes for Western Australians.

The Construction Safety Support Group (CSSG), is a central support division within the JWH Group. The Group Risk & Compliance Administrator will work closely with the Divisions to ensure we manage and mitigate the Risk presented by commercial and contractual disputes within the various Business Divisions.

Duties:

The duties of the role require but will not be limited to the following;

  • Provide support managing contractual matters within the Group which require input, assessment or documentation on various matters including but not limited to risk assessment, conflict management and disputes resolution.
  • Assist in the resolution of any escalated disputes within DEMIRs and SAT.
  • Assist in ensuring the Group's maintains currency with respect to its processes and documentation for all legislative changes that affect and influence the ability of the Group to construction dwellings or provide services.
  • Create and maintain database to track all disputes and interactions.  Liaise with divisions for updates on ongoing matters.
  • Prepare draft deeds and coordinate execution by all parties. Maintain the deed register.

  • Liaise with solicitors as required. Monitor all outstanding requests and follow up with the relevant persons to ensure timely responses are provided.

  • Manage the eCourts portal for the Group—check for hearing dates, complete SAT questionnaires, prepare draft docs for approval.

  • Assist in calculating liquidated damages claims, justifying extensions of time, and working with divisions to gather the necessary information.
  • Provide mentoring to administration staff throughout the Group.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong Commercial and Contractual experience
  • Strong level Microsoft Office and IT skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
