Senior Speech Pathologist

Making Milestones SA is a multi-disciplinary service provider composed of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, dietitian, developmental educators and allied health assistants. We work with individuals of all ages who face learning, development, functional and communication challenges. Our services include individual and group therapy, school holiday programs, and training workshops for parents and teachers. Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Speech Pathologist. The role is located in Eyre, SA, and Welland, SA. The Senior Speech Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and providing intervention for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, as well as supporting members of our speech pathology team and our multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
• Current certification with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPA)
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a speech pathologist
• Skills in speech and language disorders, ASD, feeding difficulties, complex communication disorders, and AAC.
• Experience in providing one on one support to less experienced clinicians individually and in group training sessions
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
