Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Mental Health Social Worker. The position is based in Eyre, SA, and Welland, SA.

The Mental Health Social Worker will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. The role also involves working collaboratively within our multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement holistic care plans that support clients' wellbeing and functional goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychosocial assessments and developing individualised intervention plans.
• Delivering therapy to support clients with mental health, emotional regulation, trauma, and behavioural needs.
• Providing family support, education, and guidance to enhance client outcomes.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
• Contributing to team-based initiatives, supervision, and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.
• Full registration with the 
  Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  .
• Endorsement (or eligibility) as a 
  Mental Health Social Worker
• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in mental health or related settings.
• Strong understanding of child, adolescent, and family systems.
• Experience providing evidence-based interventions such as CBT, ACT, or trauma-informed approaches.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
