About the Role

Are you tired of blistering hot days working outside? Prefer being on the road in a modern, air-conditioned van, cruising up to the Sunshine Coast and back?

We're looking for someone who loves plants and enjoys driving, to join our small but growing team at Platypus Plants.

In this role you'll:

  • Visit wholesale nurseries each day to hand-select quality plants for our customers.
  • Confirm plant species and check quality before picking up to ensure only the best leave the nursery.
  • Occasionally deliver plants to customers on the return trip, so strong customer service skills are essential.

Hours of Work (Casual - hours / days may vary)

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Approx hrs/week (depending on orders)

What You'll Need

  • Open Manual Driver's Licence (mandatory, clean record).
  • Enjoy driving and comfortable handling a large van.
  • Experience and knowledge in horticulture.
  • A good eye for detail when selecting plants.
  • Friendly, professional customer service skills.
  • Physically fit - able to lift plants up to 20kg.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
