About the Role

JBS Pork Australia is currently recruiting for a General Construction Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for general construction labouring. This position will be based at our Corowa site in NSW.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist tradespeople with tasks such as framing, concreting, formwork, and scaffolding.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare and clean construction sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Set up and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding and barricades.
  • Follow site safety rules and report any safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Perform general maintenance and upkeep of tools, machinery, and the site.
  • Carry out other duties as directed to support project timelines.

About You:

The idea candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in construction or similar physical labour work.
  • Physically fit with the ability to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of basic safety principles and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Reliable transport to and from work sites.
  • Drivers license as well as loader/telehandler/HR Licenses (or willingness to obtain them)
