Telecommunications Technicians

Ventia is seeking multiple Telecommunications Field Technicians to support a major NBN contract across NSW and QLD. You'll be responsible for installation, fault finding, and maintenance of NBN services, including fibre technologies such as Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Fibre to the Node (FTTN), which deliver high-speed internet connections to homes and businesses.
With work sites located across NSW and QLD, we welcome applicants based anywhere within these states, or those open to relocating.

What you'll be doing:
- Residential and commercial cabling (aerial, copper, fibre, HFC)
- Splicing, jointing, jumpering, and testing
- Fault diagnosis and repair of NBN networks and CPE
- Minor civil works and cable relocation
- Customer service and onsite troubleshooting
To be successful, you'll need:
This role involves working within people's homes, therefore effective communication and the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
- Have a strong knowledge of customer cabling, testing and capable to fault finding with in the NBN network
- NBN Enable card (or willingness to obtain)
- We will consider applicants with an electrical background with a keenness to learn NBN technologies
- Aerial accreditation (fibre, copper, HFC) highly desirable
- Valid driver's licence
- Outstanding customer service
All successful applicants must be willing to undergo a police check, medical and reference checks.
