To service our expanding pipeline of automotive after-market products, we are looking for a skilful Electronic Design Engineer who will, actively contribute to the ongoing design and development of Narva/VisionX and Projecta products including forward and rear lighting and our battery management portfolios.
A strong communicator, you will work collaboratively with the broader Product Solutions team (locally & globally) key external stakeholders (Suppliers, Manufacturers and Customers) to undertake ground-up design and step changes to existing products.
Other key responsibilities will include
Technical Excellence
- Develop engineering specification for new products
- End to end design, prototype, source, and test printed circuit boards
- Minimum 3-5 years commercial PCB design experience is required
Project Management
- Assist with estimation of project timelines, product costs and report the status to management.
- Project management – assist in Gantt chart creation and project management methodology
Collaborate & Communicate
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (US & International) to integrate firmware, electronic hardware design and mechanical components into a product
- Work closely with quality adhering to quality procedures, identifying and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement
Innovation & Commercialisation
- Delivery of associated products to suppliers/manufacturers for commercial deployment. This can include training of production engineers and staff, assisting with customer support and on-site customer support as required.
This role involves occasional interstate and overseas travel

Australian citizenship is required for this position.
Bachelor's degree qualified in Mechatronics/Electronic Engineering or similar technical discipline.
- Demonstrated background and experience with design of electronics for manufacture
- Minimum 3-5 years of electronics design for manufacture experience is required
- CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) or working towards
- Experience in Altium/PADS software design tools (beneficial)
- Experience in testing and verification of designs couple with understanding of design for compliance and certification
- Possess excellent communication skills- both written and verbal, with an approachable and engaging style
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and strong attention to detail
- Creative mindset with a strong willingness to learn
