Senior Analyst, Commercial Lending Assurance

About The Role
Are you passionate about risk management and compliance in commercial lending? BOQ Group is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Commercial Lending Assurance team. In this role, you'll help ensure our business lending products meet the highest standards of compliance and risk management.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough reviews of commercial lending files to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Validate loan applications and approvals, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Prepare clear, actionable reports for lenders and management.
• Collaborate with Lenders, Credit Risk, Compliance, and other teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to enhance assurance processes and frameworks.
• Analyse financial statements and credit reports to assess risk and report discrepancies.
• Support internal management reporting and contribute to a positive team environment.

About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring a degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (preferred), along with previous experience in Business Lending or Business Credit within banking. A strong understanding of credit risk, operational risk, and commercial lending practices is essential. You'll demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Technical proficiency with financial software and tools will be highly valued, as will a mindset geared towards continuous improvement and teamwork.
