We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our growing team for an upcoming construction project in Tweed Heads. This is a key leadership role suited for a licensed electrician with a strong background in construction, team supervision, and reading detailed construction plans.

You will be responsible for managing a team of electricians and trade assistants on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate a small team of electricians and apprentices on-site
  • Read and interpret electrical and construction plans and specifications
  • Liaise with project managers, builders, and other trades to ensure smooth job flow
  • Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and OH&S requirements
  • Manage site materials, scheduling, and installation timelines
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and testing of completed work
  • Report progress and issues to company management
  • Mentor apprentices and support their on-site development

Requirements
  • NSW Electrical License (unrestricted)
  • Construction White Card
  • Proven experience on commercial/residential construction sites
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings
  • Experience leading a team or crew of tradespeople
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Own tools and reliable transport
  • EWP and Working at Heights (advantageous but not essential)
