We're looking for a curious and technically-minded Data Analyst to join our Financial Crimes team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data to uncover insights, support fraud prevention, and contribute to continuous improvement across our processes. You'll be working closely with internal teams and clients, using your SQL and Excel skills to drive smarter, safer outcomes.
In this role, you'll:
- Support fraud technology projects and contribute to threat hunting across corporate and superannuation databases
- Use SQL and advanced Excel to run complex queries and generate insightful reports for internal teams and clients
- Analyse transaction alerts and assist with Suspicious Matter Reporting (SMR) processes
- Collaborate across the business to improve fraud and AML/CTF processes and documentation
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and provide subject matter expertise when needed
