Clinical Nurse Consultant

Your new role:

As the Business and Performance Improvement Officer Clinical Nurse Consultant in Emergency, you will play a critical leadership role in driving clinical excellence and operational performance within the Emergency Department. Key responsibilities include:

Providing advanced clinical expertise and leadership focused on Emergency Department models of care and operational processes.

Analyzing ED performance, activity, and quality metrics to support continuous service improvement and meet Key Performance Indicators.

Overseeing the Data Optimisation team to ensure accuracy in ED data reporting, diagnosis coding, and Activity Based Funding (ABF) optimisation using tools like ieMR (FirstNet).

About you:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced clinical leader with a strong background in Emergency Department operations and data management. The ideal candidate will possess:

Comprehensive knowledge of Emergency Department clinical models, operational workflows, and performance measurement.

Proficiency with ieMR (FirstNet), relevant databases, and reporting tools for data extraction, analysis, and funding optimisation.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive data quality improvements aligned with clinical and financial objectives.
