An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate NOC (Network Operations Centre) Representative based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
About the Role:
Take on a key role in our Network Operations Centre at Opticomm, where you'll manage and execute Level 1 NOC tasks to ensure optimal network performance and meet customer SLA requirements.
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining efficient network operations with maximum uptime, managing incidents to minimise end-user impact within SLA guidelines, and escalating issues promptly to the appropriate support teams. You'll also build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational processes. Adherence to regulatory and compliance frameworks is essential, and you must be available to work within a 24/7 NOC operations team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prioritise, classify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting Opticomm customers within SLA frameworks
- Analyse, plan, deploy, and test changes for Opticomm customers or partner services according to SLAs
- Provide regular updates on customer tickets and manage outage notifications to customers
- Acknowledge network alerts and take appropriate actions towards resolution including escalation to internal teams or upstream carriers if required
- Ensure service and support tickets are actioned in line with client SLAs, tracking through to completion
- Validate Planned Works, raising timely notifications to stakeholders and assessing change success with escalation when required
- Ensure data integrity in network management tools and accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and network assets
- Participation in a 24/7/365 shift roster to support continuous NOC operations

Essential Experience:
- Availability to support 24/7 NOC operations
- 3 years of experience in a customer service-oriented Network Operations Centre
- 3 years of experience in engaging with carriers or partners
- Proven ability to communicate professionally to achieve positive customer outcomes
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at various organisational levels
