Our client
is a highly respected name in the manufacturing and distribution sector, with a well-established presence and a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation. Experiencing consistent year-on-year growth, the business continues to invest in its people, processes, and infrastructure to support its expanding national footprint. As part of their strategic plans for 2025 an opportunity for a DC Manager has come to the market.
The role
will form a key part of the leadership team, with full responsibility for overseeing day-to-day operations of the NSW Distribution Centre in Western Sydney. The successful candidate will also manage relationships and performance across multiple 3PL partners, whilst taking a hands-on approach, accountable for end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and building team capability. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone looking to play a key role in a growing business, drive continuous improvement, and lead a high-performing warehouse team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all DC operations including inbound, storage, inventory control and despatch
- Driving team performance, safety, and accountability across warehouse and delivery functions
- Implementing best practice across warehouse processes to increase efficiency and drive down costs
- Supporting upcoming transformation initiatives — including vehicle-guided forklifts and new WMS implementation
- Embedding proactive planning, structured workflows and continuous improvement across the team
- Embed safety as a core operational value, fostering accountability across all levels of the warehouse team
We are looking for
a seasoned Distribution Centre Manager with a proven background in leading large-scale, end-to-end warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in WHS compliance, shift-based labour management, and driving operational excellence through data-led decision making. Strong experience in inventory accuracy, warehouse planning, 3PL oversight, and technology (WMS, SAP, ERP) is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and implement site-level change.
What's on offer
- Lead a hands-on operation for a market-leading business
- Drive best-practise and have the autonomy to make change
- $150k + super
