About The Role
HEH Civil is seeking a skilled Engineering Surveyor to support surveying activities across our civil projects. Based in Cairns with travel to project sites, you'll work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and project specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct survey operations across multiple sites
  • Manage, store, and archive project survey data
  • Produce reports, drawings, and sketches to project specifications
  • Monitor costs and budgets for survey activities
  • Verify survey data accuracy and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Liaise with contract surveyors, engineers, and design consultants
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment (Topcon, GPS, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

About You

  • Degree in Surveying (preferred) or an equivalent recognised qualification in surveying required.
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering surveying and management, ideally on large-scale, tier 1 projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative, "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Financial reporting and budgeting experience.
  • Current Queensland Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White/Blue Card).
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Traffic Management Road Signage Awareness (Level I) preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
