Job Description

Our service based in Eddystone Primary School is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 27.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance

Shift times will be Monday - Friday 06:30 - 9:00 (Rise then Shine Program) & 2:30 – 06:00PM (Stay and Play Program).

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

  • Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
