The Opportunity

Are you passionate about improving patient care through smart scheduling and operational excellence? We are in the lookout for a Senior Practice Support Officer to support our PSO team and our Home and Allied Clinical teams in delivering timely, high-quality in-home care.

This newly created role will play a pivotal role refining process to ensure optimal resource allocation and continuity of care. You'll work closely with the Community Operations Manager, People Leaders, and service delivery teams to support day-to-day operations, induction and training of new PSO team members, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a full-time, onsite role based at the Adelaide Amplar Health Hub, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm—applicants must reside in Adelaide, SA and be available to work on location.

About You

The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, with strong interpersonal and conflict management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They'll bring initiative and innovation to the role, aligning and empowering the team while driving a positive team culture. A natural relationship builder, they'll recognise and leverage team strengths, foster collaboration, and resilience.

Additionally, the candidate will bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in large-scale rostering or workforce planning.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (advance excel is advantageous).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Focus on dynamic, real-time scheduling—requiring someone who can think ahead, adapt quickly, and make confident decisions under pressure.

Desirable:

  • Experience in hospital or community scheduling.
  • Analytical skills and experience producing reports.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and rostering methodologies and best practices.
