As a housekeeper, you will help ensure that our hostel remains clean and welcoming for up to 480 international and domestic guests, with high occupancy year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean private rooms after check-out, including changing linen and ensuring rooms are ready for the next guest.
Inspect and clean dormitory beds, ensuring rooms are tidy and welcoming for arriving guests.
Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, including bathrooms, kitchen, and lobby.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met at all times.
Work independently, with minimal supervision.
Physical fitness is required for lifting and carrying supplies as part of the job.
Clean bathrooms, corridors, and make beds.
Assist with linen and supplies deliveries when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience (preferably in a commercial or hostel setting, not private homes).
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Must be able to pass three business reference checks from previous employers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Must be physically fit for the role.
This position follows a rotating roster (5 days per week, 9pm to 5am), offering 37.5 hours per week and is perfect for someone seeking temporary work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
