Senior Manager Federal Programs
You're ready to be the steward across a portfolio of work to enable outcomes.
You're a critical thinker who thrives on exploring complex policy issues. Your expertise and advice could influence outcomes for the future of NSW.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering strategic Federal program and investment management including reporting, governance, funding proposals and assurance across Transport for NSW, ensuring compliance with the Federation Funding Agreement and supporting the delivery of Australia's largest infrastructure investment program.
This role will see you lead the day-to-day program management functions and support of the Federal Infrastructure Investment Program, working across all program areas in the Transport Cluster in the collection, consolidation, analysis, and review of program level financial and technical information, development of reporting and governance frameworks relevant to the Australian Government and compliance monitoring.
You'll engage in high-level stakeholder management, influence investment decisions, and contribute to strategic planning and risk management. Development opportunities include leading a high-performing team, shaping federal relations strategy, and driving continuous improvement in reporting and governance.
You will broker efficiencies and improved service delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment involving Federal, State and local.
Working arrangements are hybrid with 2 to 3 days per week in the Sydney Elizabeth St office.
For more information, please view the role description.
About you
Your leadership, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills, formed across infrastructure delivery, government relations, and financial and program level reporting, will see you navigate complex compliance requirements, overcome competing stakeholder agendas, and deliver accurate and timely reporting that supports strategic investment decisions.
You're recognised as a strategic thinker and collaborative leader, skilled at managing relationships, analysing project performance data, driving team capability, experienced in program governance and reporting, and navigating politically sensitive environments.
A background in infrastructure, construction or large-scale project environments; knowledge of government financial reporting frameworks and governance processes; and advanced data analytics and visualisation capabilities will be highly valued.
