Medical Receptionist

About us

Jones Street Surgery is seeking a dynamic Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team in well established general practice in Balcatta.

The successful applicant will have significant customer service experience, preferably in a medical practice environment with experience with Pracsoft, an ability to multi-task and reliable, reassuring manner.

Task and Responsibilities

• General medical reception duties and administration duties including answering incoming calls, checking in patients, confirming appointments
• Assist patients with various enquiries
• Liaise with other healthcare providers
• Billing and receipting of consultations
• Fostering professional working relationship with team members, patients and other medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policy and procedure

• A genuine interest in meeting patient needs with a professional and caring approach to all patients and members of the practice team
• Excellent work ethic with an ability to undertake all duties in a diligent and positive manner
• Punctual and reliable
• Have a vigilant attitude to accuracy and be prepared to double check
• Be willing to work both cooperatively and independently
• The ability to communicate in Cantonese/Mandarin is an added advantage

Previous experience in healthcare is not essential as we provide as all training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
