The Role:

Kempe Mount Gambier are actively seeking experienced Fulltime Mechanical Fitters with workshop and fixed plant experience. The positions will be located in either our Mount Gambier workshop or our clients' sites within the Mount Gambier region with our existing Kempe Maintenance teams, delivering quality repairs to all various types of fixed plant equipment and mechanical fault finding.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Australian recognized trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
  • Solid understanding and awareness of HSE requirements, responsibilities and obligations
  • Fixed plant installation experience preferred
  • EWP, WAH & Confined space certificates or willing to attain
  • An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment
  • Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and team working skills
  • Work autonomous within a dynamic and flexible team
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical
  • Current driver's license
