Mount Crosby, Australia Wood PLC Full time

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover Southeast Queensland across multiple locations.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitters to support our long-term water maintenance partnership. This is a casual role based at the Mount Crosby Water Treatment Plant and is focused on the delivery of maintenance and mechanical services in the Central Region.
- Pump alignment
- Preservation of rotating and static equipment
- Demonstrated experience in pressure testing
- Asset maintenance background
- Experience with data assessment, ordering spares and recording (Microsoft Excel).
- Must have relevant Australian recognised trade certificate as a Mechanical Fitter
- Previous experience in a utiilities environment would be considered favourably
- Current First Aid, LVR&CPR, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Breathing Apparatus and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets are all desirable, but not essential
- White card or equivalent.
