About the role
Diary & Correspondence Management: Receive, prioritise, and manage all communications for the Director, including emails, calls, and paperwork, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Meetings & Secretarial Support: Organise appointments, meetings, and department committees, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Maintain office equipment and resources efficiently.
Rosters & Academic Liaison: Monitor ED consultant and registrar rosters; coordinate with universities on student rotations and timetabling for clinical placements. Ensure accurate & timely timesheet entry for all ED Staff Specialists .
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across ED staff and hospital departments while always maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Multitasking in a Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive under pressure, handle multiple deadlines, work autonomously, and take on additional duties as required by the Director or Staff Specialists.
About you
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Strong personal organisational skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
Demonstrated experience in Word, Excel and Power point with the ability to adapt to various software's.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team.
Always maintain confidentiality and have the ability to be discreet in sensitive matters
