Salary Range: $47.06 – $65.10 per hour

About the Role

At Busy Bees at Altona Meadows, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to deliver our high-quality Kindergarten Program. You will play a key role in preparing children for their transition to school while fostering a love for lifelong learning.

As an ECT, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive kindergarten programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
  • Create a warm, stimulating, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and included.
  • Use observations and assessments to support individual learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and local schools to promote holistic development and school readiness.
  • Maintain compliance with all National Quality Standards (NQS) and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current VIT Teacher Registration.
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check (Employee).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
