Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Tax Expertise (Core)

  • Use your accounting/tax background to build trust with professionals and businesses in Australia.
  • Share practical insights on taxation and compliance, ensuring Lodge Pro remains aligned with industry needs.
  • Conduct product demos, workshops, and training sessions for accounting firms, tax consultants, and SMEs.
  • Act as a bridge between users and the product team by gathering feedback and suggesting improvements.

Evangelism & Advocacy (Value-Add)

  • Represent Lodge Pro in Australia, building visibility and awareness across the accounting and tax community.
  • Create clear and engaging content (articles, short videos, webinars) that explains tax and compliance in a simple, approachable way.
  • Contribute to community discussions both online and offline to strengthen Lodge Pro's reputation.
  • Keep an eye on tax tech, fintech, and SaaS trends and share insights with the team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA in progress or partly qualified is a plus, not mandatory).
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, tax, compliance, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of Australian taxation frameworks and compliance basics.
  • Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex tax topics for different audiences.
  • Comfort with digital tools, SaaS platforms, and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to create professional and engaging content (written, visual, or live).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and excited to combine accounting knowledge with tech advocacy.
