What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Heavy Mechanical Workshop team, you will:

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on heavy fleet vehicles and machinery
• Work closely with other experienced technicians and supervisors
• Help ensure our fleet is safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community
• Contribute to a positive, safety-first workshop culture

What's on offer

Due to the growth in Ipswich, we have a fulltime general mechanic position available commencing from $87,983 per hour plus superannuation

• 9-day fortnight: every second weekend is a long weekend
• 4 weeks annual leave: with 17.5% loading so you get paid more to be on holidays
• Competitive Salary: paying allowances, penalties and 12.5% super

• Monday to Friday hours: day shift (some public holidays)

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Mechanical Trade qualification and experience in the relevant vehicle class
• Current Drivers Licence applicable to your trade qualification, minimum C class
• White Construction card or ability to obtain
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical environment
• Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
• Experience in commercial mowing equipment an advantage
