Join our dynamic team as a full-time HC/MC Truck Driver. Based in beautiful Currumbin Waters, QLD, this crucial role will see you operating a semi to deliver reinforcing steel for our valued client throughout SEQ and Northern NSW. This is a local role where you may be delivering single trailer or B-Double loads.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a heavy/multi combination (HC/MC) truck safely and efficiently to transport reinforcing steel and related products
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition
  • Ensure your load is secured and safe for travel
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and completing deliveries on time
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries, vehicle maintenance and NHVR legislation
  • Adhere to all relevant road and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • A current Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations on the road
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow policies and procedures
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
