About the Role's:We are looking for experienced Pipelayers with minimum 2 years experience in:

  • Skilled in connecting watermain pipes using various techniques, including butt fusion, electrofusion, and mechanical joints.
  • Ensured leak-free connections and proper alignment, maintaining the integrity of the water distribution system.
  • Proficiently handled and positioned watermain pipes, considering their size, material, and weight.
  • Assisted in excavating trenches for watermain installation while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Implemented shoring techniques to provide trench stability and prevent collapses during pipelaying.
  • Conducted visual inspections of installed watermains to identify defects, irregularities, or misalignments.
  • Skilled in laying stormwater up to 1650mm, working off grades, slopes, RL and proficient in the set up of required apparatus (lasers levels, theodalites etc.)
  • Proactively addressed challenges such as encountering unexpected underground utilities, adapting to varying soil conditions, and navigating restricted workspaces.

  • Drivers license and own transport
  • Valid working rights
