The role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to provide subject matter expertise in the Oracle Health ESM database. This role will lead and support outpatient scheduling processes, deliver training, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements for Metro South Health (MSH) and the Department of Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide direct line management to AO4 ESM Officers and AO3 Outpatient ESM Data Support Officers.
- Deliver specialist expertise in complex Oracle Health ESM builds and scheduling requirements.
- Develop and oversee an ESM education program to enhance system proficiency.
- Collaborate with the ESM Nurse Manager on quality audits, data validation, and issue resolution.

- Proven leadership and team management experience in a healthcare or scheduling environment.
- Expertise in Oracle Health ESM or similar scheduling/database systems.
- Strong auditing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

About the MSH ESM Team
The MSH ESM Team is part of the Primary Care Partnerships Unit, situated at Eight Mile Plains. This team provides support to all the MSH facilities for the outpatient ESM scheduling system. This support includes front-end user support via phone or remote access, clinic build and de-build, data quality audits and advocacy for MSH requirements in the state-wide ESM forum. The team delivers a positive, dynamic, flexible, and communicative work environment where each member is encouraged to develop and enhance their skills.
