Are you a seasoned finance professional ready to lead a high-performing team and drive strategic financial outcomes? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering impactful services across the community. As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and sustainability. Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead a small finance team and oversee financial operations, reporting, and planning. You'll contribute to strategic initiatives, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure regulatory compliance. Please note, if successful, you will need to acquire a National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Your new role

  • Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Manage budgeting processes and support strategic planning
  • Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and financial regulations
  • Prepare board-level financial reports and business cases
  • Mentor and develop finance team members
  • Collaborate across departments to improve financial processes
  • Act as CFO during periods of leave

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a similar role with team management
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Excel
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or disability services sector (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of NDIS funding and reporting (highly desirable)
