Are you an experienced Management Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for driving financial performance? Australian Portable Camps, a leading South Australian-based vertically integrated manufacturer, is seeking a skilled professional to join our Finance team at our Monarto facility.

We specialise in innovative modular building solutions, delivering to major mining, construction, and oil & gas projects across Australia.


About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in our Finance Operations division. Your focus will include:

  • Responsible to capture and record manufacturing data to prepare management reports.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets registers and Fixed Assets Ledger across the group
  • Maintain inventory registers and stock ledger across the group
  • Assisting with process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory obligations.
  • Working with operational managers to improve reporting visibility and cost control.
  • Contributing to ERP system improvements, particularly Oracle JD Edwards.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility – assembly line background highly regarded.
  • Strong skills in inventory management (essential).
  • ERP system experience – JD Edwards (preferred).
  • Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification highly desirable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role within manufacturing.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
