Operations Team Member – CWMS Operator

Full Time | Grade 6/7: $108,089–$114,633 plus superannuation

Renmark Paringa Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Operations Team Member – CWMS Operator to join our Infrastructure and Environmental Services team.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the Senior CWMS Operator in the operation and maintenance of Council's Community Wastewater Management Systems (CWMS) and stormwater networks. The position includes assisting with wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, irrigation, and general maintenance of associated assets.

You'll play an important part in ensuring these critical services run efficiently and to a high standard, while contributing to a safe and positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

· Undertake the operation and maintenance of CWMS and stormwater assets.

· Assist with irrigation operations when required.

· Identify and report potential issues, working proactively to resolve them.

· Contribute to team outcomes by working both independently and collaboratively.

· Maintain compliance with WHS, risk management and Council policies.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

· Knowledge of CWMS operations (essential).

· Experience in wastewater, stormwater or irrigation installation and maintenance (desirable).

· Knowledge of plant and machinery (e.g. skid steer loader, backhoe, forklift, crane).

· Good communication skills, both oral and written.

· White Card (essential).

· Current Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate (essential).

· Cert III in Water Industry Operations, Chemical Certificate, or Workzone Traffic Management (desirable).
