The Role

As a
Platforms Engineer Site Reliability (Linux)
, you'll be a key player in keeping AC3's on-prem infrastructure running at peak performance. You'll lead on RHEL administration, drive automation, and support authentication and monitoring systems that keep our platforms secure and reliable. This role requires you to be an Australian Citizen and hold (or be eligible for) Baseline Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise AC3's Linux (RHEL) platform fleet, provisioning, patching, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Automate Linux platform tasks with Ansible, Puppet, Bash, or Python.
  • Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with peers across Platforms, Cloud, and Security teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for Linux services and platform escalations.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years in a Linux Systems Administration role (RHEL focus).
  • Proven experience in automation/orchestration (Ansible, Puppet).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in on-prem Linux environments.
  • Comfortable scripting in Python, Ruby or similar.
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in collaborative teams.
  • Australian Citizen and hold (or be eligible for) Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
    as Baseline Security Clearance required.
